Welcome to the Ann Arbor (MI) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated! It is with great pride and excitement that we invite you to learn more about our Chapter and how our long history of program activities has enriched the lives within our service area of Washtenaw County, Michigan and globally. As an organization of professional African American women committed to making a positive difference across generations, our goal is to partner with other organizations to address priority issues in the community. The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said: “One of life’s most persistent and urgent questions is: What are you doing for others?”
Take a moment to explore our website to find out about our programs promoting good health across the life span from pre-schoolers to the elderly in efforts to reduce health disparities. See how our financial support afforded much needed surgeries, clothing, and school supplies for children in African countries. Enjoy the sights and sounds of performances by student scholars in music we have sponsored, and view clips from our community forums addressing the Achievement Gap. These are just a few program highlights that demonstrate our commitment to community service.
Our website includes information about our Chapter’s history and previews upcoming events. We hope you will join us in future activities as we continue to work towards making a positive difference in our community. Let us hear from you with your comments and suggestions about what we might do together. In the meantime, please explore the many facets of the Ann Arbor Chapter (MI) of The Links.
